Florida is a state in the southeastern United States. Like the other southern states, Florida has a subtropical climate. Because most of the state is surrounded by water, this means a lot of humid weather and may be in the tropical southern tip, even hot. The bulk of the population is white, but otherwise it is a mix of white, black, Native Americans and immigrants from around the world. Many retirees move to Florida to their days in the nice weather to spend.
